Temporary Purchasing Coordinator
Ripley | £13.50 per hour | Full Time | 4 Month Temporary Opportunity
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchasing Coordinator to join a well-established business based in Ripley.
This is a full-time, office-based position for an initial 4 month contract, offering an immediate start.
This role is perfect for someone with strong purchasing or procurement administration experience who thrives in a fast paced environment and is confident liasing with suppliers, orders, and stock requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and process purchase orders accurately and in line with company procedures
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and confirm delivery schedules
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as required
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
- Resolve any delivery or invoicing issues in a timely manner
- Work closely with internal teams to meet operational needs
- Provide general administrative support to the procurement function
Requirements
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confident dealing with suppliers and resolving issues
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
