About SF Recruitment

Putting people into jobs they love since 1998.

SF was founded on a simple idea. Everyone deserves to work in a job they love.

As the world of work has transformed over the years, that defining principle is still at the heart of everything we do. It always will be. Recruitment is a fundamentally human process. It is detailed insight into the people on both sides of the equation that makes the process work.

And to be sure we can always provide an outstanding service to our clients and candidates, we started by focussing on our own business. Creating a fully people-centric organisation, where every individual can be at their best both personally and professionally. Because we know that happy people will, in turn, ensure happy customers.

All of our recruitment consultants are specialists in their markets and have first hand experience of the local regions they serve. With the average SF consultant having over 9 years of recruitment experience, you can be sure that whatever your recruitment need, we’ll find you the perfect match.

A message from our CEO

“I started my career in Mergers & Acquisitions prior to coming into recruitment, working with a wide range of companies from Healthcare to Retail to Industrials. Despite their vastly different business models, the one thing so many of them had in common was that finding good talent was repeatedly a barrier to their growth.

At SF, we know that the right hire can be a game changer to an evolving business and that loving the job you do can be a game changer to an individual’s life. That’s why we work hard to ensure that all our consultants are providing a deeply specialised service and that they themselves love the job they do. Only then, are we truly able to find that all important ‘natural fit’ that results in long-term success for both employers and future employees.”

Flex for Success

At SF Recruitment, we believe that flexibility is essential for both business and personal success. That's why we're committed to flexible working in all its forms; for our own people, our clients, and our candidates.

Flexible working gives employees more control over their hours, location, and the way they do their job. There are many different types of flexible working arrangements, such as compressed workweeks, flexible start and finish times, remote work, self-rostering and job sharing …to name a few.

More than 75% of the roles we recruit come with flexible options, compared with only 26% across the UK jobs market as a whole. And working at SF, 100% of roles are available with flexible options!

For employees, flexible working helps increase loyalty and engagement, helps us achieve better work-life balance, improved health, happiness, productivity, increased opportunities, access to promotions and improved job satisfaction.

If you're interested in learning more about how flexible working can help your business attract talent and be more successful, or if you're looking for a flexible job, our consultants can help. We’re pioneers in helping businesses and candidates find the perfect flexible match. In fact, we recruit three times more flexible roles than the market average!

We believe that everyone deserves to work in a way that suits them, and we're here to help make that happen.

APPG for Flexible & Family Friendly Work

In February 2024, SF Recruitment joined an All-Party Parliamentary Group for Flexible and Family Friendly Working.  The APPG provides space for policymakers and stakeholders to debate key issues with the aim of advancing positive policy change that will make flexibility commonplace across all industries. It enables collaboration to develop practical solutions, promote flexible working as a viable solution, and to strengthen the case to put forward to Central Government to make sure flexible working, works for everyone. The group secretariat is Working Families and is co-chaired by Tulip Siddiq, Labour MP for Hampstead and Kilburn and Shadow Treasury Minister, and the Rt Hon Dame Maria Miller, Conservative MP for Basingstoke. We are joined by Zurich Insurance, Save the Children, TLT LLP and Wates.
