SF Recruitment Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
For the Financial Year Ending December 2025
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that SF Recruitment has taken, and is continuing to take, to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain.
1. Organisation Structure and Supply Chains
SF Recruitment is a UK-based recruitment agency providing permanent and temporary staffing solutions across a range of sectors. Our supply chains include suppliers of recruitment technology, office services, background check providers, and other professional services.
2. Policies
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. Our relevant policies include:
- Modern Slavery Policy
- Whistleblowing Policy
- Code of Conduct
- Supplier Code of Conduct
These policies are reviewed annually and are available to all staff and suppliers.
3. Due Diligence
We undertake due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers and regularly review our existing suppliers. Our due diligence and supplier onboarding processes include:
- Assessing supplier compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
- Requiring suppliers to confirm their own policies and procedures regarding modern slavery.
- Reviewing supplier risk based on geography, sector, and service provided.
4. Risk Assessment and Management
We recognise that the risk of modern slavery is higher in certain sectors and geographies. We assess the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains annually. At present, we consider the risk to be low due to the nature of our business and the jurisdictions in which we operate, but we remain vigilant and conduct periodic reviews.
5. Effectiveness
We measure the effectiveness of our approach through:
- Annual supplier audits and questionnaires.
- Monitoring and investigating any reports of non-compliance.
- Reviewing and updating our policies and procedures as necessary.
6. Training
All staff receive annual training on modern slavery and human trafficking, including how to identify and report potential risks. Additional training is provided to those involved in procurement and supplier management.
7. Temporary Workers
All temporary workers supplied by SF Recruitment are fully vetted and compliance checked, including right-to-work checks and reference verification.
8. Board Approval
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of SF Recruitment and will be reviewed and updated annually.
