SF Recruitment Listed Among the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 For the Sixth Year Running

We’re proud to share that SF Recruitment has been named on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 list — marking our sixth year being recognised.

The list, compiled by The Sunday Times in partnership with employee experience platform WorkL, celebrates more than 500 organisations across the UK that are going above and beyond for their people. It highlights employers that excel in areas such as inclusivity, wellbeing, culture and engagement and recognises outstanding workplaces for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, and younger and older workers alike.

According to The Sunday Times, “happier staff make for more productive businesses” and the evidence supports it. WorkL’s research shows a strong link between employee satisfaction and performance: higher engagement leads to increased productivity, loyalty, fewer sick days and better talent attraction.

This recognition reflects the values we live by every day a culture built on trust, autonomy and genuine care. One that supports individual growth and collective ambition in equal measure.

“When I became CEO in 2018, I knew that any transformation had to start from within,” said Saira Demmer, CEO of SF Recruitment.
“We set out to build a culture where people felt empowered, trusted and fulfilled — not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it drives better outcomes for our business and our clients. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that commitment reflected in our place on this list once again.”

One of the many long-standing team members who has helped shape our culture is Ellie Smith, who joined SF over a decade ago. She added:

“I’m proud to work for a business that’s consistently recognised for the culture we’ve built. The support, flexibility and trust I’ve experienced over the years has allowed me to thrive — and I see that same care and commitment extended to every member of our team.”

We know that culture isn’t something you set and forget. It’s something you nurture and we remain committed to raising the standard for what an outstanding workplace should feel like.
