Are you ready for a fresh challenge in HR where you can truly make your mark? We're looking for a confident, proactive, and resilient HR Officer to lead on-site HR operations based in Bradford.

About the role:

This is a new role where you'll be the first point of contact for all HR matters locally and be responsible for the site yourself. with support from the HR Manager. You'll work across the full HR spectrum with a strong focus on Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Learning & Development coordination. This role is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working autonomously and is able to be a firm but approachable HR professional.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the go-to HR contact for all Bradford staff, providing hands-on support and HR guidance.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising to onboarding.
  • Support employee relations casework (lower-level), maintaining records and ensuring fair, consistent outcomes.
  • Coordinate training and development activities, including managing our training portal and keeping compliance records up to date.
  • Support with HR admin; including contracts, starters/leavers, absence, and payroll liaison.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating employee files.
  • Liaise with the wider HR team to ensure consistency across both sites.


What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to hold your own with senior stakeholders.
  • A strong character who's comfortable navigating in a fast paced environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A team player who can bring a can-do, positive attitude to the team.
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 would be a bonus - but is not essential.


What you'll get:

  • Salary up £32,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hybrid working - 2 days onsite in Bradford, with flexibility on which days
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (Additional leave further details to be discussed)
  • Support for CIPD study if required
