Business Development Manager

Location: Remote & Field Based (London or East Midlands)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance/Company Car + Fuel Card

A leading provider of battery energy storage and hybrid power solutions is seeking ambitious BDM's to join their growing team. With cutting-edge technology designed to reduce CO₂ emissions and help commercial clients optimise energy savings, this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast-growing sector.

The Role:
Identify and secure new business opportunities across markets and clients.
Win new clients and nurture them into long-term partnerships.
Create and implement strategies to reach new business opportunities.
Manage and grow all new accounts, while maintaining strong relationships with selected existing clients.
Attend conferences and industry events to build networks, foster partnerships, and stay ahead of sector trends.
Work closely with the Sales Director and wider team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Maintain a strong understanding of our products, the competition, and market positioning.
Support fellow Business Development Managers where possible and share best practice.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote brand presence and solutions.
Contribute ideas and insights to ensure we stay ahead of the competition.
Take full ownership of your diary, balancing remote work with field-based client activity.

What We're Looking For:
Proven track record in sales within the energy, renewables, or power generation sector.
Strong contacts and networks within relevant industries.
Ability to build trust, close deals, and nurture long-term client relationships.
Self-motivated and commercially driven, comfortable working with full autonomy.
Excellent communication, networking, and strategic planning skills.
