Are you an experienced Supply Chain Planner seeking a new challenge? SF Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing business in Derby to recruit a Supply Chain Planner. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is passionate about Supply Chain and eager to make a significant impact in their role.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £40,000

About the Role:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple deadlines effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Supply Chain and previous experience in a similar role. You should be a self-starter, capable of working independently while also collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and provide forecast/demand plans to vendors, sharing KPIs to monitor performance.
-Collaborate with the purchasing team to provide order forecasts and raise purchase orders.
-Manage deliveries in coordination with freight forwarders.
-Define forward order plans and provide visibility to the purchasing clerk to ensure core KPIs such as stock days, OTIF, and availability metrics are met.
-Manage long stocks and exit plans, working with the commercial team to prevent stock issues.
-Work with vendors to optimise lead time, MOQ, MOV, and stock days.
-Prepare internal reports for weekly trading meetings and take ownership of availability and stock KPIs.
-Support vendors to ensure adherence to delivery lead times and maintain availability.
-Agree on promotional and new product forecasts with category managers and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills:

-Proven experience in demand planning and forecasting.
-Experience working with vendors, particularly in the Far East.
-Strong analytical thinking skills to analyse market trends.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
-Confident in communicating with suppliers and building relationships.
