Group Financial Controller

My client is a leading services provider based in Manchester. Due to the current incumbent leaving the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent into their vibrant and expanding finance function, this position is a pivotal role within the senior leadership team and you will help to shape the finance function to optimise revenue, costs and efficiencies.

As a Group Financial Controller you will lead the financial reporting and control functions, overseeing financial accounting, statutory reporting and compliance, you will ensure the function delivers accounts on a monthly basis and will provide commercial insight to the numbers to assist with strategic decision making. You will also be a key business partner to various internal and external stakeholders, as well as leading on transformation to improve systems, processes and controls.

This role will suit a qualified finance professional who has experience leading finance functions, has a strong background with technical accounting, financial controls and reporting, and has led change and transformation to improve efficiencies.

The salary on offer is paying up to £75,000 with an attractive benefits package that includes excellent flexibility on working arrangements as well as generous holidays and pension scheme.
