SF Recruitment are supporting a superb SME Business in Leicester who are seeking a Financial Controller to join their business. As the FC you will oversee a small team of 3 & report into a supportive Managing Director. They are an award-winning business with exciting growth plans. The ideal Financial Controller will be a strong team leader, enjoy developing & mentoring a small team whilst improving processes & procedures. This position would suit a qualified individual with SME experience.

Duties of the Financial Controller will Include:

- Cost accounting
- Issue financial statements
- Month-end close process
- Management Reporting
- Production of monthly management accounts & Financial Analysis
- Controls / Audits
- Review internal financial control systems
- Prepare audit information as required
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT Returns in line with accounting timelines
- Strategic Planning
- Line management of the finance team
