Financial Controller

SF Recruitment is partnering a fantastic organisation based in Rugby in the recruitment of a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the CFO, the FC will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of accounting and financial operations for the organisation. The successful candidate will be a technically strong qualified Accountant with the ability to affect change as part of period of transformation.

key tasks:

- Overseeing all accounting and bookkeeping functions, including consolidated accounts.
- Leading the year-end audit process and managing the relationship with external auditors.
- Supporting cash flow, investment, and treasury management to ensure optimal use of funds.
- Ensuring efficient and compliant income and accounts payable processes.
- Leading the implementation of our new finance system
- Working closely with the Finance and Audit & Risk Committees, including preparing governance papers.
- Managing and mentoring a finance team
- Contributing to wider organisational leadership as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
