Finance Assistant - Central Birmingham
Contract: 6-month temp to perm | Hours: 5 days per week | Hybrid: 4 days in office,1 from home | Location: Modern offices in central Birmingham - Great transport links
SF Recruitment are currently looking for a proactive Finance Assistant who's confident across purchase ledger, payments and bank reconciliations, with a sharp eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
What you'll be doing:
Processing supplier invoices & managing payment runs
Reconciling statements & handling queries
Raising intercompany invoices
Preparing GBP / EUR / USD cashbooks & weekly cashflow forecasts
Managing Concur expenses & credit card reconciliations
Supporting month/year-end reporting & VAT returns
Ad hoc finance tasks across the team
What we're looking for:
Immediately available to consider a temporary to permanent opportunitity
Solid experience in a finance/purchase ledger role
Confident communicator at all levels
Excel skills (VLOOKUP essential)
Proactive, accurate, and organised
