Cost Accountant

SF Recruitment are currently working with a Manufacturing business based in Stoke who are looking for a Cost Accountant to join there growing team.


The successful candidate will report into the Financial Director and be responsible for the following;

• Produce monthly management accounts - Profit and loss and Balance sheet
• Provide Commentaries on key variances vs Budget, Prior year and Forecast
• Prepare analysis of sales and margins by product category
• Analysis of various costs product cost against standard.
• Various reconciliation's
• Update the Fixed Asset Register
• Ensure that Prepayments have been processed and reconciled.
• Check that GRNI has been fully reviewed and additional GRNI accruals have been posted
• Check with finance team that all stock and material entries have been processed
• Ownership of the Balance sheet/PL model to ensure the Management accounts are produced accurately
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• SAP Experience
• Costing
• BOM

This is a long term interim assignment and is requiring an urgent start. Applicants must be immediately available or available on a 1 week notice period.
