SF Recruitment are working with a leading distribution business in Coventry to recruit a Continuous improvement manager. A newly created role, tasked with fostering a CI & lean culture across the organisations warehousing & distribution network.
Role Overview
Seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead strategic transformation projects across the warehousing and distribution network. This high-impact role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver who excels at rethinking processes, driving operational excellence, and inspiring teams to adopt smarter ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives aligned with business priorities to improve service, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Use data analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and deliver measurable improvements.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to optimize warehouse and logistics operations.
- Partner closely with warehouse leaders, planners, and tech teams to embed improved processes and practices.
- Support the introduction of new tools and systems to enhance inventory management and decision-making.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the impact of improvement initiatives and ensure long-term success.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by delivering training, workshops, and coaching across teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Process Improvement role within warehousing, logistics, Supply Chain.
- Solid understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Strong data literacy and familiarity with systems used to inform operational decisions.
- Effective stakeholder management, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a drive to challenge existing processes and deliver value.
- Excellent project management skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to implementation.
