Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Hours: Full Time, Hybrid
SF Recruitment are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant, on a long term contract for our client. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for accounts payable, cash allocation, reconciliations and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and promptly
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure timely supplier payments
- Allocate payments
- Bank reconciliations (weekly/monthly)
- Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant
- Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
