The Role:
As a Temporary Purchasing Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the Procurement Team. You'll play a key role in sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and helping to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Procurement Team in identifying and assessing potential suppliers

Prepare and process purchase orders and supplier contracts

Liaise with vendors to gather quotes, negotiate pricing, and coordinate delivery schedules

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Assist with supplier relationship management and ongoing performance tracking

Respond to procurement-related queries and resolve delivery or invoice issues

Provide general administrative support as needed
What You’ll Need:

Previous experience in an administrative or purchasing/procurement support role

Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)

A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
