SF Recruitment is working on behalf of their client to recruit an experienced Project Engineer to lead and deliver high-value electronic security projects across the Île-de-France region and beyond. This is a client-facing, end-to-end delivery role where you will take ownership of projects from design through to commissioning and handover. You will work with enterprise clients - managing technical scope, suppliers, timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring strong customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

This role suits someone autonomous, structured, and technically grounded, who enjoys balancing field presence with project coordination and client advisory work.

The Role
You will have real ownership - from project launch through to successful completion and financial closure. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of projects, including:

• Managing projects from initial survey and design through to delivery and commissioning
• Acting as the main technical and operational contact for customers
• Validating feasibility, scope, resources, and delivery plans
• Preparing quotations and technical proposals
• Coordinating procurement, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Monitoring progress, KPIs, budgets, and schedules
• Conducting site surveys, risk assessments, and quality checks
• Ensuring compliance with technical and health & safety standards
• Managing documentation, reporting, and project close-out packs
• Supporting client relationships and identifying opportunities for service improvement
• Contributing to continuous improvement and business development initiatives

Typical Working Pattern
Office presence is typically around 20%, with the remainder spent on client sites or working remotely. Your week may include:

• Site surveys and client meetings around the Paris region
• Proposal and quotation preparation
• Project planning and technical validation (office or home working)
• Installation progress checks and performance reviews
• Supplier and subcontractor coordination

Technical Environment
You will work with enterprise-level systems such as:

• Access Control Platforms
  Lenel, S2, CCure, AMAG, ProWatch, Genetec
• CCTV / Video Management
  Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon

(Strong working knowledge required for design and project delivery - not deep engineering configuration.)

Travel
Projects are mainly located across the greater Paris area, sometimes up to 2 hours from central Paris. Occasional national or European travel may be required to support client needs and expectation management. Company vehicle and lunch card are provided.

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Project Management qualification
• 5+ years' experience in electronic security systems delivery
• Proven background with enterprise access control and CCTV systems
• Experience managing projects across varied client environments (data centres, commercial, industrial, logistics, etc.)
• Strong autonomy - able to take a project from scope to completion
• Good supplier and subcontractor network awareness
• Understanding of French project delivery practices
• Financial awareness around project costs, margins, and forecasting
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Highly organised, detail-driven, and quality-focused

Certifications such as manufacturer accreditations, ECS equivalent, and SMSTS are advantageous.
