
Payroll/Pension Reconciliations
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Pension Reconciliation Assistant to join a busy finance team in Coventry for a fixed-term 8-week assignment maybe longer. This role will primarily involve handling a high volume of pension data and ensuring accurate reconciliation of records.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out pension contribution and payment reconciliations
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies between internal systems and third-party providers
Prepare and present reconciliation reports for internal and external review
Collaborate with payroll, HR, and pension providers to obtain and verify data
Maintain detailed and audit-ready records throughout the assignment
✅ Requirements:
Solid experience in pension reconciliations or similar financial data work
Advanced Excel skills are essential, including the confident use of:
Pivot tables
VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
Data sorting, filtering, and cross-referencing
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
