Management Accountant

A high-growth business in the Sutton Coldfield area is looking for a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their skillset within a fast-paced and commercially driven environment.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, producing meaningful financial analysis, and contributing to the wider performance of the business. With exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decision-making, this role is ideal for someone looking to progress quickly in their finance career.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Provide variance analysis and insightful commentary

• Collaborate with operational teams to support performance

• Assist in audit preparation and year-end procedures

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting and controls

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)

• Previous experience in a similar finance role

• Confident using Excel and financial systems

• Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
