SF are pleased to be exclusively engaged with a fantastic business in Burton upon Trent, who are looking for a self-motivated financial administrator with a passion to provide excellent customer service to join their Credit and Utility Team as a Utility Financial Account specialist. This is a varied role to work office-based Monday to Friday. Our client offers a range of market leading benefits as well as ongoing support.
Reporting into the Utility Manager this role provides a multi skilled service where you will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts and the day to day administration of their Group Energy Scheme.
As a confident communicator you will work closely with our energy suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage Utility Accounts.
Your role will include:
Management & detailed review of utility accounts, ensuring accurately billed and weekly instalments cover energy used.
• Ensure records are accurately maintained to reflect all activity.
• Pro-active management of supplier queries and disputes through to resolution keeping all key stake holders informed throughout each stage.
• All new Publicans are welcomed with a detailed explanation of how their Energy Scheme operates and receive ongoing support
• Validation of complex supplier billing and prepare for processing into the finance system.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Proven customer service experience/Confident with being on the phone
- Previous financial account experience (Purchase/Sales Ledger or Credit Control)
- Must be a team player – But can work independently
- Good attention to detail with problem solving skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a proven intermediate knowledge of Excel.
