Finance Analyst

SF Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing company based near Sutton Coldfield. They are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst position in their busy and sociable finance team to provide support to the Financial Controller in a range of day to day accounting and control activities. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to work autonomously and accurately. 

You will be given the opportunity to be involved with the monthly management accounts process as well as be a key player in financial analysis and business partnering.

Responsibilities 

-           Support with business accounting and reconciliations

-           Provide analysis of company and financial KPI’s and provide accompanying reports

-           Work through manufacturing and operational analytics

-           Work closely with operations teams to understand background to KPI’s

-           Monthly stock valuations, stock usage and adjustment reports

-           Maintain fixed asset register

-           Monthly analysis of business expenditure

-           Pro-actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement

-           Assist with audit

-           Other ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

-           At least 2 years of experience in Accounting

-           Experience within manufacturing would be advantageous

-           Working towards an accounting qualification

-           Experience using SAP would be advantageous

-           Strong Excel skills
