Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment? Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor with a strong UK and international presence, is seeking a Sole Charge Credit Controller to join their Coventry-based finance team.

The Role:
As the dedicated Credit Controller, you will take full ownership of the credit control function, managing around 150 active customer accounts. This is a highly autonomous role where you'll play a key part in the company's cash flow and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full credit control for approximately 150 live accounts across a broad customer base
• Proactive debt chasing via phone, email, and customer portals
• Regular review and assessment of customer credit limits
• Allocation and reconciliation of incoming payments
• Working closely with internal teams to resolve queries and maintain strong customer relationships
• Producing aged debt reports and advising on risk exposure

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a credit control role, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
