Accounts Payable Assistant required for a temporary to permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in Birmingham City Centre.
This role is to start immediately, you must be available to start asap to be considered for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Day to day running of the Accounts payable
- Responsible for the posting of invoices / credit notes to the system
- Matching invoices to purchase orders
- Proactively investigate open purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, finance colleagues and the wider business to ensure prompt
- payment of invoices
- Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Respond to supplier queries and requests for information
Key Requirements :
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent data entry and organisational skills
