Shift Pattern: Weekly Rotating Shifts (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

About the Role:
SF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Supervisor for a fantastic business based in North Nottingham. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £28,000 to £32,000. The role requires flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern, with shifts alternating weekly between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.

The successful candidate will have a commercial understanding to ensure all operations are executing efficiently and cost effectively to ensure healthy business performance, at the same as ensuring driver welfare and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the transport department.
• Coordinate and schedule transport routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Supervise a team of drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor and maintain transport-related documentation, including delivery notes, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise logistics processes and improve efficiency.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges related to transportation operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in transport management.
