A prestigious organisation operating across diverse sectors is seeking a Head of Data Insights and Analytics to join its dynamic team. Specialising in delivering comprehensive food and facilities management services, the organisation is at the forefront of innovation.

As a pivotal member of the data team, the Head of Data Insights and Analytics will play a crucial role in expanding the self-service analytics ecosystem. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and clients to foster data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with senior leadership both internally and externally, advocating for data-driven strategies.
Lead data projects aimed at enhancing business growth and profitability, including initiatives for price optimisation.
Contribute to the strategic development and execution of the analytics platform, exploring applications of data science and generative AI.
Provide training and support to empower business users in leveraging analytics effectively.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
Cultivate extensive relationships across departments to identify cross-functional insights and analysis opportunities.
Drive the transition from legacy reporting systems to the new analytics platform, utilising AWS infrastructure.
Mentor and manage a team of analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Occasional travel to the main office and client sites as required.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing analytics teams, with an emphasis on embedding best practices.
In-depth understanding of business drivers and financial performance metrics.
Hands-on experience with dashboard and reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies would be advantageous.
