The organisation

SF Executive are working with a rapidly growing, exciting, PE-backed SME that provides an executive training/consultancy service to a dynamic range of businesses across the country, including a wide variety of household businesses/brand names. With head office in Southern Derbyshire, they are seeking to appoint a new Sales & Marketing Manager to take ownership of and run the sales team’s two Account Directors.

The Role

This is a really exciting opportunity for a proactive and accountable Sales Manager to join an exciting organisation with huge growth prospects and an excellent track-record to play a pivotal part in their strategic drive to capture more market share in their specialist service sector. The Sales & Marketing Manager will be accountable for two main areas: A. Managing two Account Directors in the sales team and B. Work alongside senior business leaders to direct strategic expansion of market share and troubleshoot.

With a proven track record of partnering with fantastic client organisations the stage is set for the incoming sales team to come in and work collaboratively to take this business to the next level. 

The Individual

The successful candidates will:

  • Have proven salespeople and sales-pipeline management experience for service providing businesses, ideally with relevant industry understanding.
  • Be highly accountable and experienced with intricately managing a sales pipeline from a new client and already established client perspectives.
  • Be experienced with inspiring, directing, and helping a small team of salespeople.
  • Be proactive in solving problems and able to offer creative solutions to senior business leadership.
  • Have some level of relevant industry understanding to enable strategic market analysis for expanding market share.
  • Be used to working in a collaborative sales team with a team performance-based reward structure.
  • Be able and willing to work in the office 5 days a week (living ‘locally’ to South Derbyshire).
