Management Accountant

Are you a part-qualified accountant or an experienced finance professional ready for a hands-on, autonomous role in a fast-paced commercial environment?

We're working with a well-established organisation in the property sector to find a Management Accountant who can take ownership of the monthly accounts, drive improvements in financial processes, and become a trusted support to the senior leadership team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of monthly financial reporting, managing the day-to-day accounting operations, and supporting the wider business with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Manage tenant invoicing, aged debt reporting, and rent/service charge collections
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
• Submit VAT returns and ensure ongoing HMRC compliance
• Liaise with external accountants on year-end accounts and audits
• Collaborate with operational teams and external stakeholders on financial matters

About You:

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) or qualified by experience
• Confident producing management accounts independently
• Skilled in using Xero or similar accounting software
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, VAT and reconciliations
• Detail-oriented, highly organised, and a strong communicator
