Interim Financial Controller
SF Recruitment are currently working with an SME business in Birmingham who are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to work on both a project and business as usual finance.
Reporting into the business owner the initial brief is to work on the due diligence required from the new buyer of the business. This requires a Qualified Accountant who is able to work off their own initiative to seek out the right information. Suitable candidates will have a varied background and experience of working within a multi site business would be beneficial but not essential.
The second part of the role will involve receiving a handover from the current Financial Controller as they prepare to exit the business in the next 8 weeks.
This is an interim role for approximately 4-6 months and requires a candidate who is immediately available.
Hybrid working is available. Being able to travel on site in order to understand the business would be a benefit to ensure the success of the assignment.
