Finance Manager

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful SME service business based in Stafford as they look to recruit a Part Time Finance Manager. This is a pivotal role within the business working closely with the Finance Director to provide valuable financial information and help support strategic decision making. In addition you will be managing 1 person who will support you with the preparation of accounts. You will require initiative and ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a varied position which requires someone to be happy supporting the wider business where required. You will be given the flexibility to work hours around your schedule as well as be able to work from home a couple of days a week. We anticipate the role to be between 16-20 hours a week.

Role:

- Prepare management accounts for review by Finance Director
- Track KPI's and produce reports
- Manage accounts assistant and review their work
- Manage all required reconciliations
- Oversee the general ledger
- Produce sales invoices
- Oversee payment run
- Manage payroll
- Submit VAT returns
- Provide financial reports and analysis
- Be the point of contact in finance for external stakeholders

Requirements:

- Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
- Experience in a similar hands on role
- Strong IT skills, particularly excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive attitude
