Finance Assistant required for an exciting business based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.

This role is perfect for someone with a few years' experience in a finance function & looking to excel in your career, whilst continuing to study.

You MUST be wanting to pursue an accounting career and have a can-do motivated attitude. 

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Office based Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:
Assist the Senior Financial Accountant and Financial Accountants with the year end statutory accounts and audit process for all entities
Assist with the collation of information to be used in the preparation of the statutory accounts.
Assist with the collation, preparation and provision of information requested by the auditors.
Assist with the collation of information used in the preparation of the corporation tax packs.
Assist the team in fulfilling financial requirements as specified within the Contracts and Leases with our partners (local authorities/trust partners etc).
These include but are not limited to periodic financial statements, benchmark reporting and fee calculations.
Raise and process related contractual purchase and sales invoices (Management fees / Rent / Income Shares etc).
Assist with the preparation of any other financial reports required by board directors or external parties/stakeholders.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with maintaining the integrity of the financial results.
To undertake any other duties as may be required by the company or line management.

Requirements:
Studying towards/desire to study towards an accountancy qualification AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
Has previous experience working within a management accounts department or preparing financial statements.
Ability to process data accurately within deadlines
Meticulous, organised, enthusiastic and hardworking.
Have a good attention to detail, ability to coordinate substantial amounts of information.
Good time management is essential.
Strong communication skills, able to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholders
IT proficient, with strong spreadsheet skills
Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team
