Extrusion Operator

Extrusion Operator. Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Plastics Extrusion Operative to join their team in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastics extrusion machinery to produce high-quality recycled plastic products. The company have exciting expansion and investment plans, so its an ideal time to join them.

Extrusion Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate plastics extrusion equipment according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machinery during operation to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular quality checks on extruded products to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Extrusion Operator Requirements:
- Prior experience as a plastic extrusion operator is preferred.
- Experience operating other industrial machinery such as CNC machines will be considered.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Hours of Work: 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
