SF Recruitment have an exciting role available for a Branch Team Leader to join a trusted provider of financial services in north Nottingham. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum and presents an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a talented team in delivering exceptional customer service.

Role Overview:
As the Branch Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their branch, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures. You will lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and motivating your team to achieve their full potential. This role will require availability over the weekend, including occasional Saturday shifts from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, approximately 2-3 times per month, with paid overtime provided. This role will entail travelling to Kirkby, Chesterfield, Sutton and Mansfield branches as required, therefore a driving license and access to your own car is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of branch staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Ensure the branch operates smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of customer service at all times.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and complex transactions, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor branch performance against targets and KPIs, implementing strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and facilitate collaboration.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement branch initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for development and implementing solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to customers and staff.
  • Opening of new accounts, answering telephone calls and achieving sales objectives.
  • Create high performing teams and supporting branch teams with personal development and growth, providing feedback and delivering quality coaching, 121’s, training and annual performance assessments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine passion for exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime as required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the financial services sector.
  • UK valid driving license is essential
