Accounts Receivable Assistant
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for Account Receivable Assistant - Cashier based in Birmingham, for an ongoing temporary opportunity.
This is a high performing and hard working Accounts Receivable team. You will support the billing, credit and wider finance function in this role. Within a team of Cashiers.
Our client operates a hybrid working model, 3 days in and 2 days WFH. They also offer a wide range of competitive benefits
Key Responsibilities :
- Allocate cash receipts across various systems
- Process cheques
- Produce daily cash reports
- Process card payments
- Dealing with allocation queries and transfers
- Minimize unallocated cash
- Process direct debits
- Support the closing of month end
- Produce ad-hoc reports
- Review bank rec provided by the accounting team
Key Skills / Experience :
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Flexible & Proactive with and eagerness to learn
- Team player
