SF Recruitment are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and lead a team of accounts payable Assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-performance levels
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving issues with vendors.
- Generate and analyse accounts payable reports, providing insights to senior management on key performance metrics.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, incorporating updates into the accounts payable process
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in accounts payable and leadership or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
