Accounts Assistant required for a new temporary opportunity working for a rapidly developing business based in Garretts Green, Birmingham with a view to start immediately.
You will be working as part of a small friendly team and be responsible for the day to day running of the accounts function; your duties will include reconciling a number of company bank accounts, updating company cashbook, processing purchase and sales ledger invoices, processing subcontractor invoices, VAT returns and assisting with any other ad hoc accounting duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a good all rounder looking to join a business where you can learn and develop your accounting knowledge. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, have strong working knowledge of Mircrosoft Excel and ideally Sage.
