Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Valuer with a background in estate agency to join our team. The Valuer will play a critical role in accurately assessing the value of properties for sale or rent, providing expert advice to clients, and contributing to the overall success of our agency. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the property market.
1. Conduct valuations of residential and commercial properties for sale or rent.
2. Research and analyse property market trends to accurately assess property values.
3. Provide expert advice to clients on pricing, marketing strategies, and property presentation.
4. Liaise with property owners, buyers, tenants, and other stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms.
5. Prepare detailed valuation reports, including market analysis, comparable property data, and recommended pricing.
6. Collaborate with sales and lettings teams to ensure properties are effectively marketed and promoted.
7. Stay updated on industry regulations, market conditions, and best practices in property valuation.
8. Maintain accurate records of valuations, client interactions, and market data.
9. Assist in the development of marketing materials and strategies to attract potential clients.
10. Attend property viewings, inspections, and meetings with clients as required.
1. Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Valuer or similar role, preferably within an estate agency environment.
3. Strong knowledge of property valuation methods, appraisal techniques, and market analysis.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
5. Proven track record of achieving targets and delivering high-quality valuation services.
6. Proficiency in MS Office suite and property valuation software.
7. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for property inspections.
