Are you an experienced Credit Professional, with strong account management and Query Resolution skills?

If so this could be the role for you, our client is going through a huge growth cycle and is looking to expand the credit and wider finance functions as they continue to acquire and grow. This role will support the Senior Leadership team within Credit and the wider business.

This is initially a 6 month contract role, salary up to £34k, Birmingham City Centre based with Hybrid working, they also offer excellent benefits which you can see below

SF are working exclusively with a market leading and state of the art software business in Birmingham who are looking to grow their credit and finance function. This is a high performing and hard working credit team of 25 who are looking to grow to 30 heads by the end of the year. You will manage your own ledger and work closely with the billing, sales and operations teams.

Successful candidates will be provided on the job training whilst being supported by senior members of the team to help develop their soft skills and knowledge within the Credit Control function.
What You Will Do:

- Proactively managing queries and liaising with customers regarding overdue payments
- Managing a ledger of 500+ key accounts
- Maintaining accurate records of correspondence with customers
- Weekly/monthly cash collection forecasting
- Liaise with various internal departments in order to resolve customer queries
Supporting with daily cash allocation
Supporting the Team Leads with ad hoc duties and dealing with escalated queries.

What you'll need
- Our credit controllers should be adept at manipulating and understanding data
- A tenacious individual, able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- An excellent written and verbal communicator
