SF Recruitment are working with a business in Derby to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following -

- Responsible for all bank accounts across all companies in the group
- Responsible for weekly invoice notifications and month end reconciliations
- Post all manual payments on a weekly basis
- Reconcile the nominal ledger balance to bank statement weekly
- Post interest and charges at month end
- Reconcile the nominal ledger balance on a weekly basis
- Post all manual payments on a weekly basis
- Post all non sales ledger receipts
- Assist with credit card receipts reconciliation
- Assist with the cash reconciliation

Ad hoc responsibilities -

- Assist as required with the monthly management accounts
- Assist with weekly payroll admin as required
- Assist with weekly management reporting as required

This is a really varied accounts role that will require the successful candidate to work across the group of companies that my client are part of. You must be able to demonstrate the above experience, in particular, strong reconciliations experience. Flexible working hours, and a hybrid working model are on offer with this position.
