Procurement Coordinator
Full Time, Permanent
Moulton, Northamptonshire
£35,000 - £38,000 + Monthly and Annual Bonus

The Procurement and Supply Chain Division are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join their client on a full time, permanent basis.

My client offers flexible, hybrid working after successfully passing your probationary period. However, it is essential that you can commute to a Northampton based office 5 days per week to meet business requirements.

As a Procurement Coordinator you will report directly into the Procurement and Operations Manager and be responsible for the below daily responsibilities:

- Raising and processing orders, following from point of order to successful delivery.
- Checking onsite stock levels and ordering responsibly to meet demand levels.
- Data analysis and reporting on sales performance, supplier engagement, stock control and quality management.
- Account Management - Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring you handle their general enquiries regarding services and products, whilst delivering a first-class service.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts with contact details, documentation and financial updates.
- Forecasting and material planning for up to 4 months in advance.
- Carrying out regular market insights to understand competitors pricing and promotional activities, as well as seeking opportunities to increase sales growth opportunities.
- Liaising directly with suppliers to manage lead times and negotiate pricing and budgets.

The successful Procurement Coordinator will need to have experience in a similar role as listed above. Ideally you will have extensive experience with processing orders, supplier engagement and stock control. It is desirable that you have worked within a manufacturing or engineering industry as this will support you with understanding business processes and terminology, however, it is not essential.
