Our client is a leading Private-Equity backed B2B services organisation based in the Midlands, and having a UK-wide reach. As the organisation looks to grow, they are looking to hire a National Sales Manager to develop the existing Sales team and to drive new and incremental revenue from the market. This is an exciting opportunity with a clearly defined career progression plan.

The Role

The National Sales Manager will report in to the Sales & Marketing Director and while not owning a personal sales target themselves, they will deliver success by unifying, leading, and motivating the external sales team to embed best practice and to bring about a more strategic approach to the organisation's commercial function. Your leadership will instil ownership and pride in to the team as they continue to develop and grow through harnessing both 'new business' and 'account management' techniques.

The Person
The successful National Sales Manager will:
- be an accomplished B2B sales professional with a demonstrable track record of leading and developing sales teams
- have a strong working knowledge of the waste management / environmental services space (essential)
- ideally have a technical or scientific qualification
- be Midlands-based but with a willingness to travel nationally
- be able to motivate and inspire those around you and to lead by example
