Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a high growth, niche manufacturing business based in Dudley in their search for a Management Accountant as a result of internal promotion. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience supporting with Management Accounts looking for a step up into a fully fledge Management Accountant. You will benefit from training and nurturing from the previous incumbent who has stepped up to a Finance Manager role.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified as a minimum, ideally studying towards ACCA/CIMA and have experience helping to put together Management Accounts packs. Experience within a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous but by no means essential as the specifics can be taught.

Role:

- Prepare monthly management accounts pack for review by the Finance Manager and FD
- Analyse job costings
- Prepare and post journals and cost of sales adjustments
- Stock control and reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Variance analysis and commentary
- monthly margin analysis for review
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Prepare management information
- WIP reporting
- Ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT qualified
- Ideally 3+ years finance experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Proactive, driven and inquisitive
