Position: Management Accountant


  • Mastery in preparing and presenting management accounts
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheets in accordance with the Group's established accounting policies
  • Effective communication and translation of financial data for non-financial stakeholders
  • Active collaboration with key budget holders, cultivating a deeper understanding of projected costs
  • Engagement with the commercial team to comprehensively grasp new business deals
  • Proactive stance, adding substantial value to business operations
  • Engagement with external auditors, ensuring provision of required information
  • Ad-hoc analytical and investigative tasks

Key Requirements:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant with up-to-date technical knowledge or a robust academic foundation
  • Profound comprehension of management accounts and balance sheets
  • 2 to 3 years' hands-on experience in a management accounting capacity
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles
  • Exceptional analytical acumen
  • Familiarity with Access Dimensions is advantageous
  • Thrives under pressure, adept at meeting tight deadlines
  • Team-oriented, willing to support colleagues when required
  • Enthusiastic about process improvement, with a readiness to challenge existing norms
  • Embraces and adapts to changes seamlessly
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Readiness to shoulder additional responsibilities during team absences
  • Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and continually seeks learning opportunities for personal and process enhancement
  • Strong communicator, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrates a diligent work ethic, coupled with a dynamic and adaptable attitude
