Labourer

Labourer / Site Technician / trainee labourer. The company will consider those who have just finished a practical cosntruction / engineering course at college too, as long as the person is over 18 and have a full driving license. Our construction client specialises in providing comprehensive support to the structures and pavements department. From conducting in-situ testing to inspecting iconic buildings and listed bridges, they ensure the safety and quality of national highway assets.

Role Overview: As a Labourer / Site Technician, you will play a vital role in our operations, conducting specialist in-situ testing, inspections, and sampling of structures and pavements.

Labourer / Site Technician - Core Responsibilities: Training will be provided.
- Perform site testing, inspections, and sampling with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all site activities.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of test equipment.

Labourer / Site Technician - Experience/ Skills:
- Full driving license is essential
- CSCS Card (highly desirable but not essential with right experience.)
- Experience in labouring role or other practical work.
- Flexibility with hours is essential
- Ability to carry out a physically demanding job.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 40 - 45 hours per week, regular weekend/ night work to be expected. Our clients' projects can vary in locations and scale, so it will be expected that you stay away from home for different time scales depending on the project in hand.
