As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the estimation process, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth in the construction industry and exposure to various projects. You will be tasked with assisting senior estimators in preparing accurate cost estimates for facade and cladding projects by analysing project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain updated cost lists for various façade materials in our product inventory.
- Communicate with clients who submit quote requests, ensuring a clear understanding of their requirements and obtaining any additional necessary information such as drawings or BOQ.
- Calculate the required area (m2) of the façade cladding product from provided drawings, utilising Excel or AutoCAD for a 'drawing take-off.'
- Optimise the panel schedule to provide the most cost-effective value engineering (VE) solution for our clients.
- Input the calculated area and relevant product details, including the appropriate margin, into our costing template.
- Present the finalised quotation to the senior estimator or manager for review before sending it to the client.
- Follow up with clients for any clarifications or additional information.
- Collaborate with the design/sales department as needed.
- Upon receiving an order, verify and pass it on to the project management team.
- Provide general administrative support to the estimating department.
- Training on products will be provided.
