The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager, to join a well-established production facility based in Kettering. As the main point of contact for all health & safety on site, the successful person will be a well-established professional within the sector.

Scope of the role;

- Advising all company employees on all HSE requirements, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Be a highly visible presence across all areas of the site
- Continual awareness of changes in legislation and update company literature accordingly
- Carry out site health & safety inspections in order to identify potential risk and implement corrective actions accordingly
- Ensure all environmental aspects to the site are compliant
- Accident investigation & reporting
- Issuing & control of permits to work
- Carry out internal audits and ensure site is external audit ready
- Devise and carry out training & toolbox talks

The person;

- Experienced as a health & safety professional in a standalone role, within a production environment
- Experienced health & safety educator and can demonstrate training and support offered in previous roles
- Strong communicator with the confidence to influence across all areas of the business
- Has a hands on approach to health and safety and will offer a strong shop floor presence
- Holds NEBOSH general certificate
