SF Recruitment is excited to exclusively partner with a leading service business in their search for a talented and self-motivated Accountant to join their highly visible finance department as a Commercial Finance Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in consolidating the company's performance data and shaping its narrative through insightful analysis.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Qualifications: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, AAT

Skills: Sales Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Commercial Analysis, Financial Reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prepare sales reports and financial forecasts to support business decision-making
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights on commercial performance
  • Conduct budgeting activities and identify areas for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Participate in financial planning and analysis to drive business growth and profitability
  • Support the development of financial models and scenarios
  • Monitor financial and operational performance indicators and stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT Qualified

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role
  • Experience in sales reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Previous involvement in commercial analysis and financial reporting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practises
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally

Working Conditions:

  • Remote role with the ideal candidate based in the West Midlands
  • Full-time position with regular working hours
  • Occasional travel to office may be required
