An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Data Engineer. The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining scalable and re-usable data solutions to drive business value and deliver insights. Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, responsibilities include:

Building scalable and re-usable data solutions for insights and decision-making.
Optimizing and maintaining data applications, systems, and services.
Delivering modern data platforms and ensuring data privacy across cloud and on-premise data stores.
Managing and monitoring data stores and pipelines to ensure performance.
Contributing to and maintaining a comprehensive data solution library and knowledge base.
Completing daily system checks and producing materials for Change Advisory Boards.
Involvement in various cloud projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience:

Previous work experience in Database Management.
Experience in Cloud technology. (Desirable)
Experience in ETL frameworks.
In-depth knowledge of data platforms, public cloud services, and coding languages.
Basic understanding of ITIL and agile principles.
Experience working within a DevOps model.

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize and work to demanding deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
Organizational skills, working autonomously or as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
