Credit Controller required for a temporary to permanent opportunity based in Stoke-on-Trent.
My client is recruiting due to continued growth, seeking a skilled and diligent Credit Controller to join their finance team.
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments from clients and minimising credit risk. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a proven track record in credit control.
- Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely and efficient collection of payments
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients regarding payment terms, outstanding invoices, and dispute resolution
- Generate and analyse credit and collections reports, providing regular updates to management on the status of receivables
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other relevant departments to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Resolve any invoice and account queries in a timely manner
Skill and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with credit management software is a plus
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
