SF Executive are partnering exclusively to search for a hands-on Chief Commercial Officer for a private equity backed technology organisation based in the South West that are looking to deliver an exciting growth plan over the next 2-4 years. This role will bring the opportunity to contribute to the strategy, vision, and growth of the business.

Our client offers a customer-centric service and is doing work that will build a genuine legacy in the region. They require a sales leader who has experience of driving the commercial operation of a challenger brand within an established market. You will be leading both the Marketing and Sales teams in both B2B and B2C sales strategies - utilising current brand awareness to maximise the growth of the organisation, whilst staying true to its core values.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be an integral part of the executive team and growth story for the business. Having tenacious and resilient attributes will be a key factor in succeeding within this role. Experience within a private equity backed business previously would be desirable, as well as leading the delivery of a growth journey within a technology business.

  • Developing and executing revenue strategies to maximise the revenue growth and profitability of the business - identifying new revenue opportunities along the way.
  • Aligning the revenue strategy with the business strategy - utilising the skills of the sales and marketing teams to advance the businesses profitability, alongside their market share.
  • Assisting the CEO in formulating and delivering strategic and cultural change to a customer and commercially focussed culture. Furthermore, directing the training operations across the wider business.
  • Championing and leading the organisations customer experience.
  • Management of P&L and KPI delivery

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree would be preferable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in revenue generation and leadership roles - preferably with a high degree of experience of both business-to-business and business to consumer sales.
  • This position requires a commercially astute and highly motivated leader who is passionate about driving business success.
  • Expertise in sales management, Marketing, Product lifecycle management and customer care with a track record on delivery of results
  • Experience in either a technology, software, SaaS, or Telecommunications organisation where annual recurring revenue is key would be highly desirable
  • Resident in the South West of England

A customer-centric approach will be a consistent for this role, with the ability to travel to client site regularly as a core aspect. Hybrid working will be required for this role also, with 2-3 days mandatory in the office, alongside attending corporate events through the year.
