Buyer / Senior Buyer
SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join their client in Swadlincote. This is a full-time permanent role working in the Procurement team.
The role is initially office based with the option to work from home 1 day per week once fully trained. The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending upon experience. Ideal candidates will have 5 years prior Procurement experience.
- Negotiating price increases, terms and rebates ensuring optimum efficiencies
- Communication with all regional offices
- Producing and analysing tenders
- Sourcing and meeting new suppliers as well as building relationships with current key suppliers
- Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the business
- Previous experience in a procurement role within the Construction industry
- Negotiation skills
- Full UK driving Licence
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Health sand safety knowledge
- Computer literate in Valuation systems and Microsoft Office
