Job Title: Procurement Administrator
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Location: Oakham, Leicestershire

The Procurement and Supply Chain Division are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join their clients Procurement team on a full time, permanent basis. Ideally you will have worked within a Procurement, Sales Support or Order Processing role and be looking for a new challenge in your career.

As a Procurement Administrator you will report directly into the Procurement Manager and be responsible for:

- Raising and processing orders, following from point of order to successful delivery.
- Uploading PO's, delivery notes and invoices on to the internal system.
- Sourcing and liaising directly with UK and EU suppliers for pricing and quotations.
- Checking onsite stock levels and ordering responsibly to meet demand levels.
- Working on weekly benchmarking supplier projects to ensure you are receiving the best quality goods and services for the market price.
- Handling inbound telephone and email enquiries from customers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts with contact details, documentation and financial updates.
- Providing additional administrative support to Buyers and the wider Procurement team.

The successful Procurement Administrator will need to have experience with processing orders, and ideally have had experience liaising with suppliers. It is desirable that you have worked within a manufacturing or engineering industry as this will support you with understanding business processes and terminology.

Skills and experiences that are essential:
- Excellent communication both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy.
- IT literate - experience using Microsoft Office packages.
- Organised and able to prioritise your workload.
- Passionate about building a long-term career within procurement.

The salary is being offered between £28-30k.
